My visit to place of Historical Interest

I am always curious by nature to know the places of historical interest. Whenever I get an opportunity, I visit  a  place . During  the last  winter  vacation, I got  such  an opportunity to visit Shat Gambuj Mosque at Bagherhat , a great  historical place with my parents. The Mazar of Khan Jahan Ali at Bagherhat is a fine one storied building. It has a beautiful dome. It is a big and beautiful building. The mosque is beautifully decorated both inside  and outside . The mosque was used as a prayer hall as well  as the court of Khan Jahan Ali.The mosque has great attraction  for  the tourists and visitors. There  is a  big dighi. It  is said  that a horse was made to run before digging the dighi. The  horse run straight covering a certain distance from the dighi. That distance was accepted  as  the length of the dighi. That is why, the dighi is called Ghora Dighi.I visited the whole length of the dighi and came to know many things about the social works of Khan Jahan Ali. I spent seven hours there  and saw many historical things and enjoyed myself. Now, It is one of the greatest tourists  attractions and the best  architectural beauties  of Bangladesh. I left  Bagherhat  but  the  memory  still is vivid  in my memory.

Tree Plantation

Trees are the best friend of man. They do us good in many ways. They supply us food, medicine, timber, fuel and what not. The trees take in Carbon di-oxide and give us oxygen without that no animals can live. The trees present us flowers, the most beautiful things on earth. They keep the atmosphere cool and bring down rain. Yet some people are so ungrateful that they recklessly cut down such a beneficial friends. The little forests  that we have in Chittagong, Khulna, Dinajpur, and Tangail areas  are shrinking  day by day for increasing population. There are various fruit trees n all over the  country. But they are not sufficient to meet our fruit requirement. To make  our  country prosperous and to check  air  pollution  and to save our earth from greenhouse effects  we should plant more and more trees. Trees make the earth beautiful. Trees gives us fruits which are  the best  kind  of food. That  is why  heaven  is  imagined  as a  garden  full  of  trees. The earth  without  trees would  be a big desert  where  all  animals  will  die . So we should plant more trees.

Your Visit to a book fair

A book fair which is organized to display and sell books is called a book fair. I visited a book fair organized on the 21st February last year. It was held on the occasion of observing the 21st February.  The book fair was held in the premises of Bangla Academy. I went to visit the fair with some of my teachers and closed friends. The fair looked very grand, large and nice. I went round the fair. I saw different book stalls, a huge crowd of people. The books such as novels, rhymes, adventure series etc. were available here. I saw the children and students were buying books according to their respective choice and taste. I learnt many things and purchased a few books by Emdadul Hoque Milon. I saw him surrounded by a lot of fans. He seemed to feel tired of giving autographs. The seminar held at the foot of a tree attracted me most. I gathered immense experience through visiting the fair.

A Rickshaw Puller

Rickshaw is a common vehicle in Bangladesh. It is paddled by human being. One who pulls a rickshaw is a rickshaw-puller. He lives in the slum area of the city. He supports his family through great hardship. He lives from hand to mouth.  His family lives in great poverty. What he earns is spent to maintain his family somehow. He passes his days in great troubles. There is severe poverty in his family for which his family members suffer a lot. He is to undergo hard labour. His sorrows know no bounds. There is no time table of his work. He works long hours on a day. He usually pulls his rickshaw from morning to midnight. He earns very scanty to meet up the demands of his family. Usually he lives a poor life, which is under poverty  level. We  can better his condition  if we evaluate  his hard labour . It is our holly duty  to sympathetic  towards him. Our kind  behavior may lead him to a happy and prosperous direction.

Your School Library

A library is a store house of knowledge. A library is part and parcel of a school. No school is complete without a library. Our school has a good library. It is housed in a separate two storied building. The library has a good collection. There are many almirah. The books are arranged in different shelves according to subject s. The reading room and the office room of the librarian are separate. The librarian has some assistants. There is a big reading room. The reading room is well furnished. When we take the help of a catalogue, the assistants at once find the book and help us. We are issued library cards. We can borrow books from the library.  We can borrow books from the library. We are to return the borrowed books after two weeks. In the reading room we can read as many books as we like. No body is allowed to noise. I am proud of my school library.

Reading room

Reading room is an essential place for every student. Especially silent environment is helpful for anybody. So its necessity has known no bounds. We have a building, which has seven rooms. Its’ southern room is airy and the environment is fresh. For this reason I select the room for my study. Moreover there is a chair, a table, a shelf for containing books and also an almirah for the same functions. I keep all my important materials on the table nicely. I feel fresh in the room. I have a flower garden beside the room. When the flower blooms it spread its scent. Then the environment is felt fine. I look after the garden in the evening. I always keep it neat and clean.

Hobby

Hobby is an extra work. It always remains out of syllabus. Like others I have a hobby of my own. It is gardening. It gives me much pleasure. I have a garden in front of my reading room. Whenever I get time I work in it. I loose the soil with my spade and hoe and weeds out the grass. I water the plants regularly. I also put fence around the garden so that cattle or naughty children can’t do any harm to my garden. In the morning my heart leaps up with joy to see the garden of various flowers. They spread a sweet smell. The garden also looks very charming. My hobby is a great source of joy and pleasure. It relieves me from my routine bound work. It helps me forget sorrow and sufferings. It makes my body strong and makes my mind jolly. So I like it very much.
